CHANGEMAKERS IN ACTION
This spring, we are highlighting two impactful programs of United Charitable: ReTreeUS and A Platform² Foundation!
ReTreeUS is on a mission to inspire generations of food growers, environmental stewards, and problem solvers through experiential education in orchards and gardens. Since 2012, they have planted 100 school and community orchards throughout the Northeast!
A Platform² Foundation, founded by NBA Power Forward Wendell Carter Jr. and his parents, Wendell Carter Sr. and Kylia Carter, aims to empower youth and families with a focus on STEM, Financial Literacy, African American History, Social Injustice, and Equality Awareness. The overall foundation goal is to create a learning environment that develops well-informed youth and families who will impact and actively engage in their community.
